Slum Area in Ortigas Burned

This slum or popularly called squatters’ area is located in Barangay San Antonio in Pasig City. I believe it’s still part of Ortigas Center. The street is part of UA & P or University of Asia and the Pacific.

One day last year 2009 while walking to work, I saw this sight. Good thing i’ve had my Nikon D40 at that time.

There used to be sidewalk eateries in this area, catering to mostly construction employees.

Honestly, i was secretly delighted when the place got burned. I don’t like squatters.

But the following week, the settlers slowly rebuilt their homes.

I was riding an FX from Pasig City and was planning to buy something in Recto in Manila. I was armed with my Nikon D40.

I began shooting at Shaw Boulevard.

At the start of Shaw Boulevard in Pasig City.

About to get closed to the Capitol. The tall building is One San Miguel.

This one is near SSS and Unionbank area.

Taking the photos inside my brother’s car. We went to Tondo to go to Jade’s Cargo and Trucking Services to deliver some stuff to Iligan City in Mindanao.

Mall of Asia Baywalk

Mall of Asia Baywalk was setup after the original Baywalk in Roxas Boulevard was ordered closed by Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim. Mayor Lim no longer has jurisdiction with the new Baywalk because it is located in Pasay City.

The following photos were taken on September 28, 2009 in the aftermath of Ondoy, it is called Ketsana internationally. I rode a cart while taking the photos, paid the driver 30 pesos for the one-way ride.

These were all taken in Sto. Tomas, Pasig City.

Tamiya Cruise is an up and coming showbiz personality. The first time i saw her, my eyesight was literally stuck on her for about ten seconds. She is pretty and sexy.

Her screen name is a spoof of Tom Cruise’s name, as Keanna Reeves did to Keanu Reeves’ name.

I met her during an interview for Imbestigador, a GMA 7 which i was also interviewed for the show’s special episode to be aired on the last Saturday of August 2009.

I got smitten, i’d like to see more of her, hehe.
